A FEW WORDS FROM PEOPLE WE HAVE WORKED WITH RECENTLY:
"I am so thankful to Breaking Jar for giving me the opportunity to explore the inner workings of a production company, whilst allowing me to develop my own skills. Not only have I grown professionally through my time with Breaking Jar, but I have also been reminded why I wanted to get into this industry in the first place: to have fun, connect with other creatives, and make great stuff!"
ROSE
"Hunter put together a wonderful team, and created an environment where talent and crew were able to feel comfortable and happy. His organization, clear vision, and the trust he puts in others made working with him an absolute joy. Hunter takes special care to recruit people who are passionate, even if they don't have a wealth of experience, giving opportunities to those who need them most."
TOMMY
"I had a great time on this programme, and I learnt so much, which helped to boost my confidence and feel more determined to make my short film. You don’t need any existing qualifications - if you have even the smallest idea for a film, this course guides you through the process and helps you to expand your story. I couldn’t recommend this programme enough to aspiring filmmakers!"
MADELEINE
"We had lots of time for preparation before the filming. It started with me sketching a rough storyboard and Hunter giving his feedback, elaborating more on the scenes. The whole team was amazing to work with, very supportive and creative. Everyone was creatively involved, and we never had a chance to run out of ideas - the whole production felt very lively."
GABRIELE
"As a student currently studying Film and TV, the Breaking Jar course has greatly helped me with gaps of education left out in university. Along with this, the 1-on-1 sessions really help with in-depth analysis and any questions you have for your own film project. For me, it meant a lot to have someone with experience take the time to share tips and answers to any enquiry I had."
SAMIRA
"Breaking Jar provided the perfect opportunity for me not only to be creative, but to create work that I was passionate about. It gave me a chance to continue doing what I loved after graduating from my degree. I will take many fond memories with me from my time at Breaking Jar, as well as filmmaking knowledge and great insight for all my creative endeavours."
